Q&A. The question and answer function of LinkedIn is a powerful tool. Try searching for questions specific to your company’s expertise and provide answers based on your years of research in the industry. Don’t use this as a time to pitch your products or services; by providing a research backed answer you’re already doing that without saying a word.
Be a groupie. You’re able to join as many as 50 different LinkedIn groups. When you join, introduce yourself and tell a little about what you do. Just remember, the key here is being involved. Engage and participate in conversation and offer your expertise if questions should arise.
Start your own group. Use your core competencies to start your own group. This will help market you as an expert in your industry and keep you top of mind when people are in need of your products or services.
